We decided to give Dad his Father’s Day gift a few days early, just so that he would have time to play with it 🙂 After a few hints from Dad, all of us kids and Mom chipped in to buy him this…………

Remote Control AIRPLANE!!
It was so fun to watch him open his present. He was like a little boy, it was so cute. Dad tried it out, but figured out after a few crashes which controls do what. He is going to practice and next time we see him, he will be a pro with that thing! We got pontoons for it so that he could land it on the lake.
On Friday night, we had dinner at the French Garden Restaurant in Sebastopol. They use my parent’s mandarin oranges to make an orange marmalade. It was quite tasty!

Thanks for being such a great Dad!! I love your sense of humor, your outburst of laughter, your sweet smile, and your strong testimony. I appreciate all of your hard work and sacrifices for all of us kids. You really are a great example to us. I love you so much!!!
I know Nathan’s Dad is thought about every day, but on days like this, we think of him even more and miss him even more. I never had the honor to meet him, but I know he was a great father and husband. He raised an amazing son. From what I know about him, Nathan is a lot like him in many ways. It will be a great day when I can meet him, give him a big hug, and thank him for doing a fantastic job raising such a great son.

Ha Jess! So funny. I love the photos, Rach. What a great camera (and great photographers). I particularly love the one of Mom & Dad together at the restaurant– that’s such a cute one of them. And I also particularly love the pic of Nathan & his Dad on the baptism day, Nathan posing with his scriptures. So hilarious & cute. Glad the RC airplane was a hit! I was shocked by how large it was!
