Catching up . . .

Now rewind to Christmas . . .

Christmas Eve, Mom, Dad, Nathan and I picked Gino up from SFO, picked up Ryan and Tina and headed over to the War Memorial Opera House to watch The Nutcracker. I think we would all agree that we would be okay if we never watched that one ever again. Great dancing, don’t get me wrong. Just a little slow. But I do love the music.

Nathan’s mom was so nice to let us borrow her van so that we could all fit in one vehicle. Look how cute and comfy they are back there 🙂

Christmas morning, we opened gifts, ate breakfast, and played around. Then Nathan and I headed down to be with his family for the rest of the day. We were all so excited because Nathan got a steal of a deal (surprise surprise) on a new BBQ for his Mom. She had no idea and we recorded her walking in and seeing the BBQ. She was very excited and felt a little embarrassed that we were recording her. It was very cute. That night we headed over to Aunt Debbie and Uncle Gary’s house for a delicious Christmas dinner and always exciting white elephant gift exchange.

For New Year’s, we were planning on doing something with Mom and Dad T, but Nathan got sick so we just stayed home and watched TV. We’re such an old married couple, already . . .

Happy 2011! I know great things are awaiting us this year.

Thank you for blogging! Yes, I was NOT jealous that you guys were going to see the Nutcracker. Ballet just doesn’t appeal to me one bit. But I did miss out on the fun family time, and riding in that minivan! I love that backseat photo.
