{trying to} stay busy

Ya know, I have some great friends and family.

Thank you VERY much for your amazing responses. I have been taking all advice and trying to apply it into my life so that I will not be bored out of my mind all day everyday.

Joy and Jess, I’m sorry, but because of this lack of money thing, I haven’t been able to add to my wardrobe as frequently as I use to. Therefore, I am unable to get rid of clothes as frequently because then my closet will be bare.

Luckily, I was blessed last week with a temp job. WITH MY DAD! YAY! It was so much fun. First of all, I absolutely love what I do, 2nd of all, it was so much fun to have my Dad there and go to work with him. Thanks for the opportunity, Dad! I didn’t really enjoy being away from my husband though. But, it had to be done. And we survived. Phew.

Some other things I’ve done to pass the time:

Betze was in town for a little while, so we got to meet up and finally catch up. It had been way too long! And now that belly is flat again. Baby Meliah. Congrats to Betze!

I have been able to go visit Mom and Dad a lot, which has been nice! I love love my parent’s house. I love the fresh air and the beautiful scenery. My parents did a good job around that house. I also LOVE fresh tomatoes. Deeeeelicious.

Nathan came up with me once and we decided to go fishing in Lake Phil to see what was in there. But to our dismay, we did not catch a thing. We did see little fish every now then, but they were not interested in our bait.

My cute Mom and Dad <3

And my cute husband who turns into a 5 year old every now and then. He was in crawdad heaven.

I came home one day and found these beautiful flowers in our room from my honey 🙂

He also surprised me with the most AMAZING kettle corn ever!! I love kettle corn. And this is the best ever in the whole wide world. It’s dangerous. You take one bite, and you cannot stop. Literally. Almost literally. Your hand cannot stop going from bag to mouth, bag to mouth. Sweet n salty goodness. Mmmmm . . . He stood in a huge line at the SF farmers market on his way home from school, just for me 🙂

I am also counting down the days till my favorite lil’ friend ever arrives in a month!!

Whew. What a post. I apologize for the length, but I guess it means I am keeping kinda busy, right?

I don’t mind the long post at all. I loved everything in it, and everything about it! Cute people, funny pics, good times! And that last photo, of Kevin…. love it!

Very Fun! Except you left out the good time shoveling – mulch – and how we got sooo buff! And fragrant. We have happy soil now!
it will be so great to have alllll the hugggggs when everyone is here. Trying to get Uncle Gino booked.
Btw – who’s Kevin?

Ohhhhhhh YES, how could I forget the delicious horse POOP we GOT to shovel around the fruit trees 🙂 Best part! haha.

Chase = Kevin. It’s a joke between Nathan and Chase, and every time Nathan calls Chase, Kevin, he just thinks it’s the funniest thing in the world. Kevin is the bird animal in the movie Up.
