Rachel and I have been meaning to head up to the hill above the Oakland temple to get some sunset pictures for quite some time now. Three weeks ago we committed ourselves during Sunday school (yes, we discuss important things at church) to make the jaunt up to Oakland that evening. Apparently mother nature wasn’t down with our little plan and decided to blow some gritty clouds and haze into the bay. Even without the afternoon’s glassy sky we were able to snap off a few decent shots before the sun gracefully lost its battle with the evening sky. Take that!

Nice job! They used to have filters for cancelling out the haze; something you could look into in your spare time. 🙂
