This was our 2nd 4th of July together. Last year, we spent it in Springville, UT with my favorite little family lighting fireworks in the park. THIS year, we got to go the Fernsten cabin.
It’s about a 3 hour drive up into mountains. It was my first time ever up there. The surroundings are so green and beautiful. In order to keep it beautiful up there, work needs to be done . . .
Uncle Gary and Nathan chopped down a few a trees (Nathan was in heaven using the chainsaw). Donna, Rachel, and I got to pick up after them.
This tree was quite challenging to chop down.
We also got to do some exploring with Donna.

I love that mom is wearing dads shirt ♥ miss you daddy.
you are always such the diva, even when you are cutting tree branches! i would have looked like a hag. such class you have.
Sorry, Jess, but NO ONE in our family looks like a hag at any time. Too much CUTENESS factor for that. <3
I look like a diva?? oh wow . . . Thanks!
Looks like a nice cabin!!! And yes, you DO look cute when one should look ugly. In that last photo it kinda looks like you have a white sheet draped over you. Why would you have needed to drape a sheet over yourself? Scandalous. 😉
A sheet?? hahaha. It’s my SHIRT, weirdo!
