Donna came over that evening and made Nathan a birthday “cake”. She thought this up as she was trying to fall asleep one night. Very creative!
That weekend we went out to lunch just the two of us. We tried a BBQ place in Oakland that had great reviews, but it was just meh. Nathan always compares BBQ to stuff he had in Houston and nothing has even come close. He’s a bbq snob. One day I’ll get to try real Texas BBQ! Happy 31st Birthday, my love!!
